About us
Alan Wilks Scaffolding is a family-run business which is now in its third generation. We have a 30+ workforce which is constantly growing. All of our employees are CITB registered and vary in their qualifications from scaffolding labourer to advanced scaffolder and are either CISRS or CSCS health and safety certificate holders. We also have three full time supervisors within our company and employ a health and safety advisor.

In order to ensure our reputation as one of the region’s premier scaffolding companies continues, we consider stability for our workforce important. Therefore, we directly employ all of our labour force and continually train apprentices. We also ensure that at least one member holds a valid first aid and fire safety certificate. We are committed to providing ongoing training to our workforce to maintain a premier standard of workmanship. We specialise in all types of scaffolding from domestic premises to large industrial sites.

SAFETY FIRST
Scaffolding training
Scaffolding training is very important to us, no matter what the cost; our customer's safety always comes first. All of our employees are registered with the C.I.T.B on the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme and attend regular courses to update their qualifications. We currently have employees on the C.I.T.B training scheme and have had other employees on the same scheme that are now fully qualified scaffolders. We have abrasive wheel training, manual handling, SG4 and many other training talks and courses needed for work satisfaction. We also employ an independent health and safety advisor who also assists in health and safety training along with toolbox talks and any other training that is required for our staff.​ We are committed to providing ongoing training to all of our employees in order for them to develop the skills needed to maintain high quality and consistency of our work.
